Considering backyard chickens? Let a raffle decide your fate. You could win a chicken coop, built by our students out of 90% reclaimed materials! $5 per ticket or 5 for $20.
This portable coop houses 3-5 chickens and contains 3 nesting boxes and 1 roosting pole. There is 1 access door to the nesting boxes and 1 access door to the bottom run.
And this coop is made by students at AYW from 80% reclaimed materials that are left over from our green construction program! What’s not to love?!
All raffle ticket purchases will go to support AYW service projects through the purchase of a mobile classroom.
Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. The raffle will close at the end of the day on April 22nd and winners will be contacted April 23rd. You may purchase tickets ahead of time using our secure, online cart. Or come by our booth at the Austin Earth Day Festival to purchase tickets – at the Historic Browning Hangar at Mueller, 4550 Mueller Blvd., Austin.
Your winning donation will go farther to support American YouthWorks if you are able to pick up the coop. However, we are able to deliver within the Austin City limits. This is a preliminary sketch. Individual coops may vary.
